Day 1 (Sunday). Malaga - Granada

Reception of passengers (meeting point) at the AC HOTEL BY MARRIOT MALAGA PALACIO (Calle Cortina del Muelle, 1, Distrito Centro, 29015 Malaga) at 10:00 a.m. Afterwards, we will visit the city of Malaga and its Alcazaba, a palace fortress from the Muslim era. Lunch at the Parador de Malaga de Gibralfaro. In the afternoon, we will arrive in Granada by coach, where the Al Andalus Train and its crew await us, ready to start the traditional Andalusian Route. Welcome and accommodation in our room on board the train. Dinner and overnight in Granada.

Day 2 (Monday). Granada – Linares/Baeza

After our first breakfast on board, we will visit the most visited monument in Spain, the “Alhambra” of Granada, a rich palace complex built by the Nasrid rulers of the Kingdom of Granada (The visit schedule for the Alhambra may vary depending on the number of people in the group, languages, and authorizations from the palace complex authorities). Lunch. In the afternoon, we will continue with the visit to the city of Granada, located at the foot of the Sierra Nevada, where we can admire the impressive Andalusian legacy and Renaissance architectural gems. Dinner on board while the Al Andalus Train arrives in Linares-Baeza. Overnight in Linares-Baeza.

Day 3 (Tuesday). Linares/Baeza – Úbeda – Baeza - Cordoba

After breakfast on board, we will visit Úbeda and Baeza, both cities declared World Heritage Sites by UNESCO, known for their beautiful Renaissance buildings. While enjoying our lunch on board, the train will arrive in Cordoba. Visit the city that was once the capital of the Emirate and the medieval Caliphate of Al Andalus, a time when it became the largest, most cultured, and opulent city in Western Europe. Its monumental historic center is declared a World Heritage Site and is filled with charming streets, flower-filled patios, and typical squares. Dinner and overnight in Cordoba.

Day 4 (Wednesday). Cordoba - Ronda

After breakfast on board, we will visit the Mezquita-Cathedral of Cordoba and then continue on the Al Andalus Train towards Ronda. Lunch on board. In the afternoon, we will visit Ronda, with its breathtaking location perched on a plateau split by the deep Tajo de Ronda, through which the Guadalevín River flows. Dinner at a restaurant and overnight in Ronda.

Day 5 (Thursday). Ronda - Jerez

While having breakfast on board, the Al Andalus Train will arrive in Jerez, where we will visit a Jerez wine cellar and also enjoy the show “How the Andalusian Horses Dance”, a famous equestrian ballet with Spanish music. Lunch in Sanlúcar de Barrameda and free time. Dinner and overnight on board the train. Overnight in Jerez.

Day 6 (Friday). Jerez

After breakfast, our coach will take us to Cádiz, popularly known as the “Tacita de Plata” and considered the oldest city in the West. City tour, free time, and lunch in Cádiz. Dinner and overnight in Jerez.

Day 7 (Saturday). Seville

While having breakfast on board the train, we will arrive in Seville, where we will bid farewell to the crew of the Al Andalus Train. We will then visit the city of Seville, a city of incomparable beauty and great historical, cultural, and artistic wealth, with the largest historic center in Spain. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Seville boasts significant artistic richness and beautiful gardens. Lunch at the HOTEL DEL ALABARDERO (C. Zaragoza, 20, Casco Antiguo, 41001 Sevilla), where we will conclude our journey around 5:00 p.m.
