Day 1 (Sunday). Seville - Jerez

Reception of passengers at the HOTEL DEL ALABARDERO (C. Zaragoza, 20, Casco Antiguo, 41001 Sevilla) at 10:00 a.m. Afterwards, there will be a visit to the capital of Andalusia, which has the largest historic center in Spain. After lunch, we will enjoy a panoramic view of the city and tour the famous Plaza de España before boarding the Al Andalus Train. Welcome toast on the train, introduction of the crew, and accommodation in our Grand Class Room or Deluxe Suite (depending on the chosen option). Dinner on board while the train begins its Andalusian Route and heads towards Jerez. Overnight in Jerez.

Day 2 (Monday). Jerez – Cádiz - Jerez

After breakfast, we will depart by coach to visit Cádiz, popularly known as the “Tacita de Plata” and considered the oldest city in the West. Visit and free time to immerse ourselves in the charm of Cádiz. Lunch. In the afternoon, return to Jerez, known for its wines, horses, and flamenco, which has a historic center that has been declared a historic-artistic site. Free time, dinner, and overnight in Jerez.

Day 3 (Tuesday). Jerez - Ronda

After breakfast, we will visit a Jerez wine cellar and also enjoy the show “How the Andalusian Horses Dance”, a famous equestrian ballet with Spanish music. Lunch on board while the Al Andalus train takes us to Ronda, which divides its urban area on both sides of the Tajo de Ronda, a gorge over 150 meters deep. Its old town is declared a Site of Cultural Interest. Dinner at a restaurant in Ronda. Overnight in the city.

Day 4 (Wednesday). Ronda - Cordoba

After breakfast on board, we will visit Ronda, with its breathtaking location perched on a plateau split by the deep Tajo de Ronda, through which the Guadalevín River flows. Lunch on board while the train arrives in Cordoba, the capital of the Emirate and the medieval Caliphate of Al Andalus, a time when it became the largest, most cultured, and opulent city in Western Europe. Its monumental historic center is declared a World Heritage Site and is filled with charming streets, flower-filled patios, and typical squares. Visit, dinner, and overnight in Cordoba.

Day 5 (Thursday). Cordoba – Úbeda – Baeza - Granada

After our usual breakfast on board, we will visit the Mezquita-Cathedral of Cordoba and continue exploring the city that was once the capital of the Emirate and the medieval Caliphate of Al Andalus, a time when it became the largest, most cultured, and opulent city in Western Europe. Lunch on board as we arrive at the Linares-Baeza station to visit Úbeda and Baeza, both cities declared World Heritage Sites by UNESCO, known for their beautiful Renaissance buildings. In the evening, during dinner on board the Al Andalus train, we will arrive in Granada. Overnight in Granada.

Day 6 (friday). Granada

After breakfast on board, we will visit the most visited monument in Spain, the “Alhambra” of Granada, a rich palace complex built by the Nasrid rulers of the Kingdom of Granada. (The visit schedule for the Alhambra may vary depending on the number of people in the group, languages, and authorizations from the palace complex authorities). Lunch. In the afternoon, we will tour the city of Granada, located at the foot of the Sierra Nevada, where we can admire the impressive Andalusian legacy and the Renaissance architectural gems. Dinner and overnight in the city.

Day 7 (saturday). Granada - Malaga

After enjoying our last breakfast on board, we will bid farewell to the Al Andalus train and its crew, and travel by coach to Malaga, one of the most culturally interesting cities in Andalusia, where we will visit its Alcazaba, a palace fortress from the Muslim era. Free time and lunch at the AC HOTEL BY MARRIOT MALAGA PALACIO (Calle Cortina del Muelle, 1, Distrito Centro, 29015 Malaga), where we will conclude the journey at approximately 5:00 p.m.
